Thanks for this valuable and informative post . It is great to know that reader has reading glasses that can save me from my eye worries. The eye is an important part of our body that deserve every attention. Unfortunately several things could cause its impairment. In my own case i spend quite an extensive period on the computer and this often cause headache and eye strain. Hi Daniella, generally if you need a prescription to see far as well as seeing up close you may need to have them made with an eyewear retailer. The bifocal readers you can get on readers.com will have no prescription on the top and your reading power in the bifocal. Hope that answers your question.
Hello, Huy and thanks for putting this information out there. The saying that one is never too old to learn something new is still true. I didn’t know that stronger reading glasses were even available.
I have actually heard of this company and as you said, every time I go into a store looking for reading glasses I have noticed they only go to a certain power so, naturally, I thought that was the limit.
SURPRISE!! Now I see that this is not true. The good news is that I don’t actually need reading glasses that strong so it’s not an issue for me. However, for those who need stronger glasses, this is the info they need to see.
I checked out the website and even though the prices are in US dollars their prices are still quite reasonable. I do a fair amount of sitting in front of my computer so a pair of their computer glasses would be what I am looking for. I will be checking them out the next time I need reading glasses which will probably be sooner than later.

My mother wears customizable bifocal readers. It allows her to do her usual activities like driving and watching movies while see up close the map or sewing. She actually had a good vision until she enters her 40s. Her glasses became a very important accessory to her lifestyle since then. But, there comes a point when her presence is needed in some social events. Dressing up makes her wanna throw her glasses which kills the whole packaging. I wonder if contacts would do her good?
